Luttrell take's his processing serious. Were we surprised? Nah! We've been sipping Abu coffee for years so we made it a point to visit this year and secure some of these epic lots.
Now, every Panamanian farm worth a damn has immaculate farming practices. Jose Luttrell is no exception. Where we notice a divergence in the coffee is when processing comes into the picture. The processing Luttrell does is 40% science, 40% art, 20% F-around and 100% flavor bomb in your cup. This Gesha popped off the table, I looked at Hana we both nodded, we had to bring lot # 4145 back.
This is a micro-lot so we only got a super small amount in stock, see lot size and rant below.
